Another 50th
A5
This is to go with yesterdays card and I roughly used one of the Sketch and Stash sketches.
I used the CB Swiss Dots embossing folder on one of the papers and made the backing paper with the sentiments on myself.
It does look better in real life...honest...
Thanks for dropping in, hope to see you again soon

A card for my Aunty and
Truly Scrumptious Challenge19
.....sketch and 3 flowers, 3 brads and 3 pearls or gems
I made the scrunched flowers according to the video tutorial by a very talented lady... Valita Designs and Fresh Folds. I had to improvise with the punches and although these were quite fiddly I am pleased with the result
Thanks for calling in today, and thank you if you want to leave a comment.

50th Birthday
A5
I guess this card is self explanitary :-) and was request from my daughter who suppled the photo which was taken when the two families were on holiday at the beginning of September.
The birthday 'boy' doesn't know it yet, but he will be celebrating his big five-oh at our daughter and son-in-law's house on Saturday. He just expects a Halloween fancy dress do, so I hope is is suitable surprised.
I found it a right job to do the background...I wish the CB was A5 size :-/ because I don't do very many 'small' cards.
As you can see, I used the Birthday and the Swiss Dots embossing folders and joined them together with a MS border punched strip.
I quite enjoy the challenge of making up a funny caption although I usually think of something better after I've finished the card.
Thanks for being here and hope to see you again soon.

Christmas Card Challenge.....
135mm square
I made this tonight for the weekly Christmas Card Challege at Magical Crafts Forum
Guess who has the honour to choose the challenge this week .........meeeeeeeeee!!!
My card was chosen by Jackie, last weeks winner, (thank you Jackie) and DT member on the Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge.
Angel launches the new challenge on Sunday 1 November and I am looking forward to seeing what the new DT have in store for us.
Once again, I've used BP and image from Joanna Sheen's Victorian Christmas CD.
The image and greeting are matted on to sliver mirri card, although it doesn't show in the pic.
Thank you for stopping by and I will be delighted if you have time to leave a comment.

New Home
A5
My son's in-laws have moved to a bungalow this weekend so of course I want to wish them well in thier new home.
This image is from the pcCrafter sample set...I did prefer one of the images in the previous set but when my PC had to be cleared I lost them all.
I added a layer on the roof and fixed the whole image with silicone to raise it.
The 'new home' pole is a cocktail stick.
My mojo went walkabout so it is not a very inspiring card but it's the thought that counts....right!! :-)
Thanks for being here and if you leave a comment I'll be very happy

My second Christmas card
A5
I know, I know, I'm so well behind all of you out there.....as the title says this is only the second Christmas card but I did want to join in some challenges and they are either Halloween or Christmas so I went with the weekly challenge on
Magical Crafts Forum - (a recipe) who are encouraging us to make a weekly Christmas card
Ooh-la-la Victorian Christmas No: 39 and used the sketch at
Friday Sketchers No:75
You might recognise the image and BP.....from Joanna Sheen's Victorian Christmas CD.
It is very rare that I use CD's but I have been feeling a bit crook for a couple of days so went with the easy option and it is another one for my box :-)
Thank you for being here and if you can leave a comment it will make my day :-)

14th birthday
A5
Just a quick post with this 14th birthday card...the request was for pink and sparkly.
It took longer than I expected cos, apart from cutting it out, it was a bit fiddly fixing the no: 14 to the back of the card and lining up the greeting inside so it didn't show from the front.
I have left the inside really plain.
I don't know where I got this image from...I found it in my bit box...and the paper is some left-overs in one of my files.
I couldn't help adding a flower to this sweet little girl's hat and some ribbon.
Paperplay Challenge this week is to use favourite embellishments and flowers, ribbon and sparkle are mine :-)
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge wants us to dig deep and use an old stamp or image.
You wouldn't want to see the mess I have now got to clear up....I am such a messy old so and so :-/
Thank you for looking...I do hope you can leave a comment so i know you've stopped by.

Second post today
There is a weekly challenge over at Magical Crafts Forum to help you build up your Christmas card selection. This week it is to make a card with a Chistmas Flower.
EDIT - How embarrassing.....I missed the deadline :-/
I have to confess that this is my first Christmas card if you don't count the one that went in the bin last week.
I have shaped the baubles and fixed them with silcone so they look nice and rounded....a bit fat for posting though.
This has been made using the freebie images and BP from Jak over at Crafters Kitchen. As well as being generous with the freebies, Jak's work really is a treat so if you haven't already done so do pop over and have a look-see.
Images and BP - Crafters Kitchen
A little bit of gold thread to hang the baubles.
Thank you for visiting and for any comments you have time to leave, each and every one is really appreciated.

Challenge
135mm square
I liked this weeks Sketch & Stash sketch so I used it to make a quick card.
It started off OK then I checked the sketch and saw that I'd forgotten to add ribbon across the centre....I managed to get the topper off.....fortunately I had used foam tape... but as I couldn't tuck the ribbon around the BP I've had to fix it with brads.
In the end it wasn't such a quick card. Teach me to look at the sketch properly next time, I hope :-)
The new stash is the image, details below.
Image - Incy Wincy Designs downloaded yesterday.
Papers - left overs from stash
Flowers - Prima, one coloured with Copic green
Many thanks for looking in. I hope you have time to leave a comment, it will be greatly appreciated

Peachy Frillie Millie
A5
This is only the second card I have made with the lovely Frillie Millie digi stamp from Pink Petticoat so when I saw this sketch on the Mojo Monday Week 108 challenge I knew I'd got the perfect excuse to use her :-)
The theme at One Stop Craft Challenge is Birthday cards so I guess this fits.
The Ooh-la-la Challenge is 3 different shapes.
I don't often use this colour so I had to hunt around my digi papers to find something to match Frillie Millie's outfit.
Close up........
Papers - Audrey Jeannes's Perfectly Peachy,
Amy Teets Sun Porch from Shabby Princess
Image - Frillie Millie from Pink Petticoat
Star - X-cut Impress die sparkled with Glamour Dust
Flowers from stash
Has anyone noticed I've changed my avatar?
Nice pic innit...you can't see my wrinkes....Lol...:-))
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have time to leave a comment so I know you've visited.

70th birthday
A5
After two weeks without my daily fix on the PC and with no pretty paper, flowers and ribbon to stroke I came home from holiday and found that I had forgotten how to make cards :-(
I tried two and they have gone in the bin so I'm relieved that I got my mojo working for this card for a 70th birthday.
Fortunately the inspiration came from Carol's Sketch Fun 16.....thanks Carol.
The inside...a truly rubbish pic...
DigitalPapers - Nearly White - Loreta Labarca Designs
Bleach Linen - Scrap Artist
Nestie Circles
Sissix Alpha - Azure - Glamour dusted
Flowers - Cherry Blossom and small roses from Wild Orchid
Everything else from stash
If you have time to leave a comment.....thank you very much indeed...!!
