Let's Think Hot - CACB #56

The first challenge for 2012 is
Let's Think Hot!
Hot colours, summery images etc - let's escape the winter for a little while.

It is my granddaughter's birthday soon and I've combined her card with my  DT card.

I so love the metallic range - which can be found here in the digi shop, and used one of the frames as the focal point.
I made two prints and layered the top one over the gold ribbon with small pieces of foam  pad. This is layered on to a mat from the funky collection.
The backing paper is textured with a cuttlebug embossing folder - the name of which escapes me at the moment  - with gold embossing around the edges.
All this gold and red makes it look real lush :-)

The metallic frame looks lovely with the gold filigree ribbon from Linda, The Funky Junkie . The adornment is a triple bow of seam binding ribbon, a large gold and pearl button,  home made stick pin and glamour dusted heart and....a flower.

We look forward to you playing along with us for this challenge - the DT have created some lovely designs for your inspiration over on the Challenge Blog so do pop over and have a looksee.

I'd also like to enter the following  challenges
OSAAT #94 - use a digi
Stampalot - monochromatic
Through the Craftroom Door #17 - monochromatic
The Craft Garden - monochromatic

Thank you for stopping by
Cheers me dears :-)
