80th Birthday Greetings

**********************

Challenges
 TTT #33 - flower frenzy
CCC - may flowers
Creative Inspirations #111 - decorate the inside
Diva's by Design #1 - their First challenge - anything goes
RRR #24 - anything goes

 200mm square

Only one more to go, yippee.
This is the one destined for Tasmania - I do hope my customer likes it.
The only requirement was for lilies as the recipient (Lil) likes lilies - how appropriate :-)
The backing papers were designed by ......drum roll......ME!!  Three different ones no less, though all are similar .
Can you tell how pleased I am with myself,  lol.
I started off with a neutral BP and added the stargazer lily images in varying levels of transparency.

I couldn't find anyone who sells stargazer lilies, only cala's,  so I resized the image, printed it 3 times and decoupaged it.
I made up the 'congrats' circle and edged it with gold pen.

The inside is the neutral BP, a 50% transparent lily and a lightened circle for the greeting.
Seam binding ribbon, a doily  and  lace finish it off.

The box/envelope in silver mirri card. Computer generated label on a Nellie die cut frame.
I fancied it up a bit with an MS corner punch.

Top Tip learned today
A baby wipe removes nasty gluey splodges and fingerprints from lovely shiny mirri card :-)
A buff with a clean tissue and no one would guess how messy some people can be, lol

Thank you for stopping by :-)
Cheers me dears

Stunning Irene. What a clever girl you are making your own backing paper, not something I've ever attempted. Thanks for the tip about baby wipes too cos mirri card sure does pick up everything. Hugs x
