Christmas in October at Crafty Ann's

********************************

Another fortnight has just whizzed by and it's time again for another challenge at CACB
Christmas in October

Crafty Ann's Traditional Christmas Scrapbook Kit is one of my favourites so it is no surprise that this is my choice for this challenge.

I started off with making a frame from the mitred gold peel off for the gorgeous gold starry paper from the Rhapsody in Blue Kit  (the only item NOT from The Traditional Christmas Kit). I then layered  it on to the gold paper.
I added the greeting, made in my graphics programme, to another plainer gold paper to go in the lush Holly Frame and finished with the lovely green ribbon with diamante buckle.

You can see my lovely DT buddies fantastic samples over at CACB
It will be lovely if you can join us for this challenge and get another Christmas card done and dusted.

I'd also like to enter this into the following challenges
Sparkles CC #21 - traditional * thrilled to add that this was chosen as one of the top3 :)
ABC -U for up to you
Christmas Card Challenges #47 - bows are optional

Thank you for stopping by and if you feel like leaving a comment you'll make my day :)

White Wedding

**************

8" square

For my niece and her future hubby from her Mum and Dad

Challenges
Wild Orchid #61 - silver and gold - not a lot but it is there :)
(Gold printing Silver button and thread and bead cap)

Bearly Mine #57 - anything goes
One Stop #200 - heat emboss - (the sentiment)

The base layer is faux silk. I scored a diamond pattern on the second layer and just a border on the top one. All layers are fixed with foam tape.

I printed the sentiment on pearlised card, chucked on embossing powder as soon as it came out of the printer and then heat gunned it. It took a few goes to get a decent result :/

A little arrangement with a stick pin and tatty muslin

The box - a bit boring but you get to see it anyway, lol

Thank you for stopping by today
Cheers me dears

Black n White plus one at Crafty Ann's

**********************************

Black and White and one other colour
OR
Black and White and a coloured topper

I have used this diagonal stripe paper from the B&W collection and part of the music collage digi.
Quite simple really, but very effective with just the roses coloured with copics.
The image is fixed with foam tape and the swirly bit is something saved on my PC, origin unknown

I do hope you will have time to join us for this challenge - my DT buddies have some great inspiration for you  over at CACB just the perfect excuse to nip over to have a look-see.

I'd also like to enter this into the following challenges
Challenges 4 Everyone #4 - anything goes
CYP #131 - hip to be square
Crafts and Me #105 - anything goes
Crafty Sentiments - anything goes
Craftymess #19 - anything goes
