Card for a friend

150mm square

This is for friend J who worked with me in another life.
It also fits the January challenge on Joanna Sheen's forum.
The challenge this month is to use a stamped background and this is the first time I have attempted masking. I used the script from the Hydrangea stamp from Joanna Sheen. Elusive Images, I think, but please someone put me right if I am wrong.
Other stamps used were a butterfly, an initial, my 'pretty lady' and a clear corner stamp and a flower.
I roughly cut a flower out of the original BP, inked edges and lightly painted it with copics. My favourite piece on this is the flourish cut with my brand new Sissix die, a Christmas pressie to myself. I added some dots of pearly Appli-glue that I have had for years and finished with a greeting tag, a bow, and pink gems that are actually for a mobile phone.

Thank you for visiting. Your comments really are appreciated
