I had a request for a card from DD's friend for a special card for her sister's 50th.
Her birthday is not until next month but she lives in Australia so I needed to make it in plenty of time.
You can tell I think it is extra special because I have again parted with TWO of the lovely Mulberry flowers. Greeting embossed with fine detail gold, hand cut leaf, flourish and 'Sister' and number cut in Azure font.
I actually did a bit of hand stitching on the 'torn' layer. My sewing machine is too big to get out just for a little bit like this. I'll have to look out for one of those little ones. I cut the middle out of a nestie label to make a frame and ran it through my CB using swiss dots embossing folder
