Do you think this is bright enough?

8" Square

I was asked to make a card in bright colours for a lady who's sight is poor.
I just hope it is suitable for a lady of this age, although her son has approved it.
I have been deliberating over this for weeks and ruled out using an image because of her poor sight.

There are a lot of elements that can be felt, like CB embossing and the flowers which are all raised with foam tape. The heart and flowers have been 'sparkled' with glamour dust.

I have made a wrap for the card, because I don't have paper large enough to make an envelope.
Many thanks to Suzanne who has done an excellent tutorial on how to make these and I always do this now for 8"sq cards that will be hand delivered.
For those of you who haven't visited Suzanne I wholeheartedly recommend you do so. There are currently 143 fantastic tutorials and product write-ups.

Thank you for stopping by and for any comments you feel like leaving.
Each and every one is appreciated :-)

Hi Irene wow an 8x8 is a great size and you have done a fabby job. I love the colours you have used and those embellishments and flowers you always accessorise your cards so beautifully, and I think its wonderful how you have made your elements touchy feely. My mum will be 90 this year and she is the same her eyesight is so poor even with glasses she finds it very difficult to make sense of shapes and colours. Now you have given me some great ideas that I can use on her card.

What a fantastic card Irene, not only to look at, but to feel it too. You have done a brilliant job of adding different textures for the lady to feel.I'm sure she will love it and you must feel very proud of your work.

Irene, it's a lovely card. I worked for 5 years as an Ophthalmology Secretary and know the do's and don'ts for people with little or no eyesight and you have gone for brighter colours, textures and also shapes so that the recipient can feel around. Kym xxx
